NEET Cutoff  2020 

When National Testing Agency (NTA)  will be declared NEET result 2020 in the second week of October 2020. The result will be uploaded online on the official website of NTA and candidates can check it by logging into their registered accounts.

The results-cum-scorecard of NEET 2020 will mention the name, date of birth, the application number, overall subject wise marks, and NEET All India Rank (AIR). In addition, the result will display NEET cutoff 2020 and eligibility status.

NEET  UG cut-off will depend on various factors such as:

How to check NEET UG 2020 cut-off

By following the steps given below, candidates can check NEET cut-off 2020:

Step 1: Look at the NEET answer key and note down the number of correct and incorrect answers.

Step 2: By following the marking scheme of NEET, candidates can calculate their score. NEET score = (number of correct answers x 4) – (number of correct answers x 1)

Step 3: After the calculating neet score, match your score with the qualifying marks.

Step 4: If you have passed, then check the NEET cut-off of various colleges.

NEET Exam Pattern: NEET 2020 examination pattern suggests that each question has equal marks and each correct answer will be 4 marks. there will be1/4th negative marking.

For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted from your total obtained marks. Total Number of questions 180  and the maximum mark will be 720 and each question answer will be 4 marks

NEET Counseling 2020

Based on the AIR, the exam conducting officer will prepare the NEET Merit List 2020, showing the rank-wise names of the candidates who have passed the examination. Directorate General of Merit List from the Medical Counseling Committee for NEET 2020 Counseling, Deemed / Central Universities seats, AFMS, ESIC, and Central Pool seats for 15% AQI from Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) Will be sent to Health Services (DGHS).

Whereas the remaining 85% of state quota seats in government colleges will be allotted by the respective state counseling authorities based on the marks and rank obtained in the NEET 2020  exam.

The state counseling body will also be responsible for granting admission to private medical/dental colleges located in a particular state Seat Matrix.
